Oatmeal Coconut Crisp


Ingredients

  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 1 cup dessicated coconut

Instructions

  1. Cream shortening. Add sugar and eggs and beat until light and fluffy. Add dry ingredients, oatmeal and coconut. Form into 1 inch balls and place in ungreased baking sheet. Press down with bottom of glass dipped in flour to prevent sticking. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 10-15 minutes. Take out from baking sheet while still hot. Yields 60 pcs.
