Chocolate Chip Cookies


Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (casuy, almonds, walnuts)
  • 1/2 cup small chocolate pieces

Instructions

  1. Cream shortenings. Add sugar, eggs and dry ingredients. Add nuts and chocolate morsels. Drop by teaspoonful in ungreased baking sheet 2 inches apart. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 10 minutes or until done. Take out from sheet while hot to prevent from sticking. Yield 50 pieces 1 1/2 inch diameter.
